Potential Care Providers 2016

Embed the video here. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/eGOwlblevfk

My name is Jordan. I’m the Program Coordinator for DEAF Support Services from New Directions for Children, Youth, Adults & Families.

This is for potential care providers (or "foster parents". Both are used interchangeably but, in this case, we use the term "care provider)

If you, a family member, friend, or someone else you now would be interested in becoming a care provider, feel free to contact me.

Some questions that may entail are:
-Do homes must be licensed? Should the home be owned or rented?
-I have family and kids living with me, would I still be able to have an individual/participant living with me?
-Do I have to be fluent at ASL?

If you have other questions, feel free to contact me and I'll be more than happy to answer your questions.

Share this message with other people who you know may be interested!

Thanks!
