Weekly Tasks
for March 14
This week:
1 - Commit to voting - tell all your friends and family that you are voting
Disability Matters in the 2016 Provincial Election on April 19. Share
this on social media.
2 - Share information about How to Vote
Our team of volunteers put together a Voter's Guide. This handy tool has
all of the information a person needs to vote on April 19. This is a
great guide to share with your members - some organizations are even
hosting a "Learn to Vote" session. What a great opportunity to
talk about one of our basic human rights.
Check it out here: Voters Guide
3 - Ensure
your members are registered to Vote
If you have not yet been enumerated or did not receive an enumeration
record you can contact your returning office up until April 7
to arrange for an election official to visit you at home.
Or you can visit your returning office to register to
vote. Returning offices are open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
except Sunday, when they are open from noon until 6:00 p.m.To find the
address of your returning office, you can visit the Elections
Manitoba website: www.electionsmanitoba.ca,
