Introduces New Executive Director - Chris Kenopic

It is with great pleasure that the
AVLIC Board of Directors announces that we have approved a recommendation
from the Staffing Task Force to employ Chris Kenopic as Executive
Director for AVLIC.
Chris brings to AVLIC years of
experience as a leader in numerous organizations, Ontario Association of
the Deaf and the Canadian Hearing Society to name a few, as well as
skills in resource development, human resources, finances and strategic
planning.
Chris is based out
of Georgetown, Ontario and will be starting in
the position with AVLIC on February 1, 2016. We look
forward to having Chris join us in our upcoming online Board
meeting on February 27, 2016 and the in-person Board meeting in
Victoria, BC, April 9-10, 2016.
