AVLIC Introduces New Executive Director - Chris Kenopic

It is with great pleasure that the AVLIC Board of Directors announces that we have approved a recommendation from the Staffing Task Force to employ Chris Kenopic as Executive Director for AVLIC. 
Chris brings to AVLIC years of experience as a leader in numerous organizations, Ontario Association of the Deaf and the Canadian Hearing Society to name a few, as well as skills in resource development, human resources, finances and strategic planning. 
Chris is based out of Georgetown, Ontario and will be starting in the position with AVLIC ‪on February 1, 2016.  We look forward to having Chris join us in our upcoming online Board meeting ‪on February 27, 2016 and the in-person Board meeting in Victoria, BC, April 9-10, 2016. 
Please join us in welcoming Chris to AVLIC.
