the recruitment firm of Amrop Knightsbridge to lead the search for an Executive
Director for the CAV. Of course, while the Interim Board has sanctioned
the initial search, the final decision on any appointment will be made by the
permanent Board of Directors, once elected.

We
are pleased to be conducting the search to find the inaugural Executive
Director for the Canadian Administrator of Video Relay Services (CAV).
This
is an exciting and well-funded opportunity to design from the ground up a
comprehensive regime (both platform and services) that does not currently exist
elsewhere and that will become an archetype for other countries. The
Executive Director of CAV will lead the strategy, development, implementation
and management of VRS across Canada, and deliver a highly anticipated service
that will improve the lives of Deaf and hard of hearing Canadians.
