The
Wild Type! Opening Reception was super amazing! Thank you to the 75 happy souls
who attended, I couldn't have asked for a better birthday!
For
those who could not make it to the opening, there is one week left to see the
show. It is likely they will be dismantling the show sometime next Tuesday,
Sept. 16 and if you intend to see it, perhaps it would be more
advantageous to do it by Saturday this week.
The
show is at Gallery Lacosse, 169 Lilac Street. Hours: Tuesday to Friday 11:00
a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Another
item of news, I am participating in the 10th annual Pembina Valley
Studio Tour this weekend, Sept. 13-14 as the guest artist of Susan
Crawford-Young of Manitou. The sign designation is A2/3 in the
brochure. You can download the brochure containing the maps and information on
all the artists. I've done the tour before as a sightseer and it was a lot of
fun driving around the countryside. The Pembina Valley is a very pretty area.
