WAD 100th Anniversary Celebration 1914 -
2014
Thanks to
the people who took the time to complete the WAD Survey about the 100th
celebration for 2014.
The Board
met and discussed the outcome of the survey and decided that we will go ahead
with the planning of the 100th celebration of WAD during the Deaf
Awareness Week in September 2014.

WAD Children’s Christmas Party – December 7, 2013
The Annual
WAD Children’s Christmas party will take place at Deaf Centre Manitoba on
Saturday, December 7th.

WAD Christmas Dinner and Draw will take place at Deaf Centre Manitoba on
Saturday, December 14th.

an email. DEADLINE to let us know is Tuesday, October 8th. We
will then let people know if we will have the event or cancel it.
WAD Recreational Events
WAD feels
it is very important to have recreational events, so people can get together to
enjoy and have fun…
We are
planning a TALLY HO sometime in February 2014. More information later…
We are
planning other events, like Bingo, Games, Picnic, etc. and it will be announced
later.

any suggestions, please feel free to contact us.
